The ANSI C Standard Library included with Metrowerks CodeWarrior follows the specifications in the ANSI: Programming Language C / X3.159.1989 document together with extensions according to ISO/IEC 9899:1999 (known for some time as "C9x"). The functions, variables and macros available in this library can be used transparently by both C and C++ programs.

• unix.h, unistd.h, stat.h, fcntl.h and utsname.h declare several functions common on UNIX systems that are not part of the ANSI standard.
