Novell ha annunciato un accordo con Microsoft che "puzza" lontano un miglio di marcio ... 
vi invito a prendere posizione e fargli sapere che non possono/debbono farlo.

Dear Novell
I am a professor at Rome 1 University, Computer Science.
I tell my students to use Linux to learn, to program, to create.
I have just read about the mutual agreement of Novell with Microsoft,
where Microsoft asserts that they will not sue customers of the SUSE Linux
distribution sold by Novell.
This agreement is in blatant disagreement to the GPL license, that covers
almost all the Linux and GNU code.
The GNU license says that you cannot distribute the GPLed code unless all
the people has the same protection.
An agreement where only the Novell customers are protected from Microsoft
litigation is against the GPL license.

I really think that you must reconsider the agreement and ask Microsoft to
enlarge the protection to EVERY Linux user/developer.
Or else you should stop distributing Linux.
I trust that you can see that the current agreement smells of the "embrace
and destroy" smell.

Until you make this change, I will tell to all my students to wait and
stop using SUSE Linux and switch to other distributions.
I will ask also my department and other departments to switch from SUSE
Lunux to other Linux distribution.
